AEB: Russia’s new car, LCV sales rise 29% to 157,800 units in June

MOSCOW, Jul 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) rose 28.7% to 157,800 units in June thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown effect in 2020, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) said on Tuesday.

In January–June, sales rose 36.9% on the year to 870,700 units.

As compared with the same periods of 2019, sales grew 9.8% in June and rose 5.1% in January–June.
